CPU cooler with RGB LED backlight

By | November 20, 2019

SilentiumPC reads our minds. The Polish company has released Fortis 3 cooling in the version with RGB LED backlight – it is to be efficient, effective and inexpensive.

SilentiumPC Fortis 3 is one of the best CPU coolers in its price category. The manufacturer's offer has appeared in its new version, which stands out with a more effective style and RGB LED backlight.

SilentiumPC Fortis 3 with RGB LED backlight

SilentiumPC Fortis 3 RGB HE1425 is based on the design of the usual Fortis 3 HE1425 model. We are still dealing with a tower, asymmetrical heat sink and five heat pipes (they have direct contact with the processor, which should improve heat pickup). In the new version, the radiator and heat pipes are covered with a nickel layer, so the cooling looks even more effective.

The most important change is the fan – the Stella HP RGB 140 mm PWM SE model offers similar performance, but is additionally equipped with RGB LED backlight. The user can choose one of six backlight modes: from constant lighting to a given color, through a slow change or breathing mode, and ending with strobe-style flickering.

Light effects can be controlled in three ways: from the included Nano Reset RGB controller, a compatible SilentiumPC Armis TG RGB housing (e.g. Armis AR5X TG RGB) or motherboard software (all popular standards are supported). Thanks to the RGB signal splitters, the backlight can also be synchronized with many other SilentiumPC products: e.g. Aurora II LED strips or Signum casings from the RGB family.

SilentiumPC Fortis 3 RGB HE1425 matches the most popular stands for Intel and AMD processors, and an additional advantage is compatibility with high RAM modules and most Midi Tower cases (heatsink is 158 mm high).

SilentiumPC Fortis 3 RGB – effective and affordable

Fortis 3 RGB HE1425 was valued at PLN 179, so it's not much more expensive than the regular version (it costs PLN 140-150). Therefore, the new model will interest people looking for efficient, extraordinary and affordable cooling. A hit is coming!
