The mobile market has changed a lot over the years. Despite this, some still remember models from years ago and one of them is without doubt the Motorola Razr. We can remember about it, because the new version debuted.
The new Motorola Razr is a folding screen smartphone
Followers of reports from the mobile market are unlikely to be surprised. We wrote about the fact that the manufacturer plans to bring this brand back to life at the beginning of this year. Later, renders also appeared and eventually it turns out that they were very close to the final appearance of the smartphone. The new Motorola Razr is a combination of the original and modernity. It is no longer a flip phone, but a smartphone with a folding screen.
The way the structure is assembled resembles the original, but this time after unfolding we do not get a small display and keyboard, but a large Cinemavision screen. This name hides a folded pOLED panel with a 21: 9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2142 x 876 pixels. In addition, the manufacturer has also placed an external, additional OLED screen with a resolution of 600 x 800 pixels. You can use it to read notifications or when taking a selfie.
The new Motorola Razr brings back memories, but does not impress with the specification
Unlike even Galaxy Fold, in this case you should not focus on high-end components. The new Motorola Razr brings a not very impressive Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, as well as 6 GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory and 16 Mpix cameras (back) and 8 Mpix (front).
The smartphone works under the control of Android 9.0 Pie. It has Bluetooth 5.0, dual band Wi-Fi and NFC, and at the same time a modest 2510 mAh battery. When unfolded, it has dimensions of 172 x 72 x 6.9 mm, and when folded, it decreases to 94 x 72 x 14 mm.
If the new Motorola Razr tempts, then certainly not the price
First of all, the smartphone will be available in the American network Verizon, where it will cost $ 1,499.99.
At the beginning of next year, the new Motorola Razr is expected to appear in Canada, and a little later in other parts of the world, also in Europe. However, some sources suggest that the price will be even higher on our continent.
