Today the premiere of Need for Speed: Heat. Is this fresh candle finally a scene thanks to which the series is back on track? The first reviews do not give an unequivocal answer.
Today, the premiere of Need for Speed: Heat for PC, PS4 and Xbox One
Less than three months ago we received the announcement of the game Need for Speed: Heat, and today we can check it in action. The latest races of the Ghost Games studio debuted on the market in three versions – for personal computers and for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. If you're interested in the first one, then it might be a good idea to check the hardware requirements.
The game in the installment with the subtitle Heat does not differ significantly from what we have already got used to the Need for Speed series. This is a typical arcade racing gamein which fun is varied by a campaign and tuning – both visual and technical.
An interesting fact is the clear division into day and night – when the sun shines, we take part in legal races in which we earn money. We use these later to buy and improve cars, to show at night who rules the city during illegal street races, having not only other drivers as rivals, but also police.
For the good start…

New Need for Speed in reviews – is Heat a hit?
Assumptions may be pleasing, but how does Need for Speed: Heat compare in practice? The answer will vary depending on who you ask. Because if you asked this question to a reviewer from The Games Machine, you would learn that due to the playability, aesthetics and quality of workmanship is it is both a good return to the roots and a promising new beginning. The editor USgamer, however, would tell you that the intentions may have been good, but poor artificial intelligence and a small variety do not allow you to enjoy the gameplay.
On the way, of course, we also have many other opinions, and average rating is 7.5 / 10. If we were to summarize all these verdicts briefly, we would think that Need for Speed: Heat is a nice game that combines the distinctive features of previous views, but still not outstanding in any way. So it's worth playing, because you can also have fun with it, but you should not focus on a completely new type of experience.
