The latest Nvidia drivers for “Metro Exodus” and “Battlefield V”, on which computer users equipped with the latest RTX cards will benefit the most.
According to the manufacturer, the new drivers allow “Battlefield V” to be achieved with the inclusion of ray tracing over 60 frames per second, even in 4K resolution (in the case of RTX 2080 Ti card). All thanks to DLSS technology (Deep Learning Super-Sampling), or artificial intelligence algorithms, which are more efficient than previously used anti-aliasing.

To take advantage of the benefits of DLSS in the latest “Metro Exodus” and “Battlefield V”, download the latest driver GeForce 418.91 WHQL, as well as the October update of Windows 10 (version 1809 or higher). After downloading the latest version of the game, options related to DLSS and ray tracing should appear in the graphics menu. In the case of “Battlefield V” you also need to remember to enable DirectX 12 and restart the game.

Ray tracing is a relatively young technique and is currently only available on NVIDIA high-end graphics cards. The producer seems to understand that, apart from photorealism, the gameplay’s flow is also important. This was initially a problem. The company drew conclusions from the users’ votes criticizing this problem. Therefore, it repairs what users complained about right after the release of RTX cards.
