Pixel 4 XL and Galaxy Note 10+: camera comparison

By | September 15, 2019

It seems that Google will have a big problem to surprise anything during the launch of new smartphones. Especially in the case of Pixel 4 XL, about which we know almost everything.

Pixel 4 XL reports before the premiere

Not only dry information and renders have hit the network, but even video materials presenting the Pixel 4 XL smartphone. Although we are talking about prototypes that lack the final version of the software, but the design or components should no longer change. And if so, the earlier suggestions that some similarities to new iPhones will appear here. It is of course about how to set up the main camera. Pixel 4 XL will not have a notch for it, but in return you should expect a fairly wide frame above the display (6.23 inches, 3040 x 1440 pixels).

The Pixel 4 XL housing is to contain, among others, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory and a battery with a capacity of 3700 mAh. The smartphone should also offer an advanced face recognition mechanism and Smooth Display function (screen refresh rate at 90 Hz instead of the standard 60 Hz).

The already mentioned main camera is to consist of two lenses – 12 Mpix (IMX363) and 16 Mpix (IMX481). Google has never exaggerated with the number of lenses, although there were fewer of them than competing models for photo quality, it was difficult to object. Will it be similar this time? One of the online materials focuses on this issue, compares photos taken with Pixel 4 XL and Galaxy Note 10+ smartphones. No definitive conclusions can be drawn here, but it seems that the photographic possibilities of Pixel 4 XL will be quite big.
