It is more and more likely that this year smartphones will break another barrier and not one, but several models with as much as 16 GB RAM will appear on the market.
Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G may be the first smartphone with 16 GB RAM
A few days ago we wrote that Xiaomi Black Shark 3 can have as much as 16 GB of RAM on board. The scenario remains plausible, only that the Chinese producer may be overtaken by one of the competitors. The same memory resources should have Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, which will be officially presented on February 11, at a conference prepared by Samsung.
Unofficial reports suggest that the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will be offered in variants with 12 GB RAM and 16 GB RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB of internal memory. There are also good references to the battery, which has a capacity of 5000 mAh.
The S20 Ultra 5G is going to keep the SD Card slot. Support for up to 1TB.
It will also be available in 128GB / 256GB / 512GB and have a 12GB and 16GB RAM option.
108MP main, 48MP 10x optical, 12MP ultra wide.
5000 mAh battery with 45W option fast charge. 0 to 100% in 74 min.

Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is just one of the upcoming news
It is worth mentioning that the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will be the most advanced of all models included in the Galaxy S20 line. In addition to this conference, we also see Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 + (in LTE and LTE + 5G variants).
They may not offer such large RAM resources, but you should not be concerned about performance shortages. Instead of 16 GB, the manufacturer will probably bet on 8GB or 12 GB, and all three models should be powered by an Exynos 990 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor (depending on the region).
Also on February 11, the Korean manufacturer should also present the foldable Galaxy Z Flip.
