CES 2020 ended last week, but the immense prime minister made it difficult to see everything at once. For example, we missed the presentations of two promising soundbars, but … we're already catching up.
Creative SXFI CARRIER is a soundbar with Super X-Fi and Dolby Atmos
More and more great soundbars are appearing in stores, which actually allow you to enjoy almost cinema-like experiences in the salon. At least on paper Creative SXFI CARRIER has everything you need to join the top group. And even more!
Creative SXFI CARRIER soundbar was created in cooperation with Dolby Laboratories and is based on the DASS (Dolby Atmos Speaker System) system. This is an "innovative acoustic project", thanks to which a relatively small device is to generate an expansive sound stage.
This as well the first soundbar with Super X-Fi – headphone holographic technology. We will appreciate it during night screenings, during which we will use headsets. Let's also mention the external 10-inch subwoofer, HDMI 2.1 ports, USB-C and USB-A and Blueooth connectivity.
Price? It is still unknown, but we have information from the manufacturer that it will definitely not exceed $ 1,000.
Samsung HQ-Q800T, the first soundbar with Q Symphony technology
The second promising soundbar is Samsung HQ-Q800T, i.e. the first model for 2020 disclosed by the Korean manufacturer, and also the first device with Q Symphony technology. Under this name lies a set of features that ensure immersive, cinematic sound, achieved with this year's Samsung QLED TVs.
The Samsung HQ-Q800T is a 3.1.2 soundbar with a wireless subwoofer, supporting the spatial formats Dolby Atmos and DTS: X and proprietary Acoustic Beam technology, giving the impression that the sound is coming from different directions. Unfortunately, we don't know any other details yet.
We know that Samsung has prepared a substantial catalog of soundbars for 2020. The flagship model will be called Q950T, and Q900T will be slightly lower in the hierarchy. In addition, we also expect models Q70T and Q60T, as well as devices from the S series (including S60 in the 4.0 system) and T (representing the lower price range).
